just curious Tim  how do you know this to be a factual thing for JCBA?    Ill wait til an actual rep from them comes on here  or we get a TA and compare to what you put here    Youre counting the eggs before they hatch

Robbed don't make plans to spend the signing bonus, I doubt you will see it. A Nostradamus he's not  but in my opinion you can look at the Passenger service contract for a close model

Who knows? Making things up, believing other things, trying hard to get under my skin to provoke or shut me up and scare me away. Live by one simple rule and nothing will bother you

whenever a JCBA TA is reached and comes out  you better believe Ill go over it with a fine tooth and one of the things I look hard at is scope   then its wages  and so forth down the list

What made you leave DFW? The suburbs look like a nice affordable place to raise a family.

Main reason I needed a change and my family lives here. But it was a litany of reasons that made me feel like I needed to make the move.

And a NYer will never really feel welcome in Texas. You always feel like you're intruding and they don't really want you there. I don't feel that at all here in South Florida (The 6th Borough as some call it)

No B/S when US was growing in the mid 80s LGA was junior  station and everyone around the system would come here to get their full time status. a few from TX literally got off the plane and changed their minds and went back to TX. Guess NY can be intimidating, crime was a lot worse back then until Rudy took over. We always treated the transfers good let them leave early so they could catch a connection etc

There are great people in Texas and I made friends for life there but at least for me and other NYers I talked to, there was just something. A sense of people talking behind your back. And of course my ideology is very different from how they think and they're not exactly open to different ideas and cultures. (Many of them at least)

I know people who work for AA back there with over 20 years and have never even left the State to fly anywhere outside of it. Had a few tell me "I have everything I need right here in Texas"

That kind of thinking just doesn't work for me.
