Jet Pull Pit

Think there will be a large turn out for the annual Jet Pull in Pit this year? In my opinion I would rather just send in the $10 to the charity of my choice, why give the company the credit? Hopefully the only teams that show are management ordered ones!!! Any union on the property that shows should be embarrassed!!!!

I don’t know about you all , but the only thing I’m “giving “ to this company is going to be my indignation .

Don’t give a penny to this companies “cause “ … I can’t believe they have the nerve … if you want my opinion rather than giving to the united way, this company should think about setting up a fund to help all of the workers who are either going to be displaced or forced to look for employment elsewhere!

Have to agree with you on the UE benefits.

It will just make me rather ill seeing the local media coverage of the event and then the coverage on the Hub. Just something about everybody laughing and joking after they have just been bent over!!!

Sad truth is, these lemmings will be given a safe haven at some other airline or corporation who will recognize their "talents". When they're "fired," they don't encounter the hardships, that labor does.

As for Mr. Walton, who perpetuated this shift in mentality toward workers, I hope more people vote with their pocketbooks when considering shopping at Wal-Mart, I won't spend my pay check there, nor will I non-rev or buy a ticket on Us Airways, unless I have no other option.

Well, you should probably get involved in the jet pull this year, because it is looking like PIT will be an all Express station by this time next year. :blink:

Surprised no one has picked up on the closure of all of the PSA stations -- some of which were former mainline stations. PSA's 350 agents are all union and now being kicked to the curb as there is no where to go for them. Piedmont is non-union and there is no flow-thru for the PSA employees anywhere -- the only thing I got when I transferred was I kept my DOH for travel.. err year of hire. I also kept my pay scale, but only because I was in mgt I believe.
