How many Gates does AA have at JFK? How many domestic and how many international?

If the so-called merger happens, will it be PHL of JFK for International ops.
 
PHL what's that. Give me a break... I think you guys should drop that Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and learn to eat real food.

What's International about PHL? PHL may have international flights, but you can't even compare PHL vs JFK. Where do International passengers go for entertainment after arriving in PHL?

First, I was asking how many gates does AA have at JFK Domestic and International? JFK/EWR are slot restricted airports, PHL isn't.
 
IDK how many gates/slots we have at JFK, but if JFK is over capacity then why not keep both hubs? Even if Philly is mostly connecting traffic, then why not? Save JFK for the O&D and keep Philly as a connecting hub. If your connecting to Europe what difference does it make? If the planes are full on US Airways why would you not keep it? Hopefully AA (or US mgmt) sees that and learns from AAs past mistakes. (buying and shutting down airlines) but keeping their debts etc.! Thats one reason were in this mess anyway. The people flying to Europe are going to go either way. If we cant make a profit after all the cuts weve taken then raise prices or shut the whole thing down. At least they cant blame labor anymore!
 
This JFK/PHL 'thing...certainly pose's a scenario that is 'Interesting to say the Very Least.
PHL has ABSOLUTELY...NO Where (physically) to expand. NONE/NADA/ZILCH !
Maybe...just Maybe, given the Enormous populations of the NYC area, and to a lesser degree PHL, that 'Dual International ops just might work.
Man, after 34 years 'around this business', NOTHING has ever had me as Perplexed as the JFK/PHL 'thing !!!!!!!!!!
