So much for Hope and Change, like NHBB says...
DONT EVER CHANGE

As opposed to the numerous stunning foreign policy successes? Please. Talking to ones enemies cannot hurt anything.
When the US is attacked, the blame can be paced squarely at the feet of Bush/Cheney for doing nothing to find the people who actually attacked the US and has done very little to support the combat mission in Afghanistan.
BTW, can you list the foreign policy experience that Bush had before becoming POTUS?
Don't be so sure! There may be a 2010 landslide but it may be in the other direction.
There is a whole lot going on that can not be totally controlled by government. Take the economy for example. We see an unemployment rate in the 9 to 11 percent range in March 2010 I would not want to be a Democrat running for re-election in ANY district at any level.
OTOH, if you have a unemployment in the 7 to 8 percent range trending downward then it's going to suck being Republican. We're 20+ months away and lots of things can happen between now and then and most of them aren't good for the Democrats.
You get a terrorist event on US soil and the much hated Bush & his party will be seen in an entirely different light by enough Americans to swing elections.
IMO the Obama Administration did a pizz poor job of managing expectations and now lots of folks are looking to him to "fix things" and their expectations of Obama are far above what ANY President could ever hope to deliver under the best of circumstances.
Piney,
I'm with you ALL the WAY, on your dual assessment's.
Look for BO to have EVERY friggin' shipping container INSPECTED, before it "hits the pier" at Post Elizabeth NJ, or elsewhere.(That is if the Capitalistic PIGS in the GOP don't object, like they've done in the past on this Issue)
Well since we're blaming people, "NOT IN OFFICE", lets start with Clinton! Had Bin Laden in the cross hairs, long before 9/11 and was too chicken-s_it to pull the trigger !

Can't you zealots come up with a better excuse for everything, besides just BUSH?
Uh, Saddam, perhaps?....
After all, he was a dictator who gassed innocents, murdered his own flesh and blood, and invaded two neighboring countries.
He was a murdering unpredictable SOB, and his regime deserved to be taken out. Despite what the tainted media will have you believe, most of the country is far better off today than they were five years ago.
BTW, Bush's Dad was POTUS. Mother was First Lady, Brother Jeb Gov. of Florida and "W" Gov of Texas. Another brother is an international businessman. The whole Bush family have Middle Eastern oil interests and friendship with House of Saud. Until 9/11, the US had a base in Saudi Arabia which Osama Bin Laden insisted we leave because we were infidels. That is one of the reasons we went into Afganistan to clear out the Taliban so we could have a base there to protect US interests in the Middle East. I imagine that slipped you mind heh? Just like the long line of Kennedy's in politics, so is there a long line of the Bush family in politics. I imagine a whole lot of foreign policy was involved by both Dems and Repubs. to protect our interests here and abroad. As opposed to the numerous stunning foreign policy successes? Please. At first I thought you were talking about BushUh, Saddam, perhaps?....

I wonder if the million plus dead Iraq citizens would agree with you. Or the ones who still live with out water and electricity because of our bombing. He was a murdering unpredictable SOB, and his regime deserved to be taken out. First lady, Gov of FL? That's up there with Ivan flying over Alaska. Dad was POTUS? Too bad he did not learn from his dads actions and restraint. Maybe had he done so we would not be in this mess. What experience does W have negotiation on a nation to nation level? None. Negotiation business interests (if he even did that) has nothing to do with foreign relations experience. My guess is any business dealings were done on a legal level and I doubt W or Bush Sr. had anything to do with it. As for Bush Sr. being POTUS, again, they have a few staff members who do the negotiating. The POTUS lays out the goals.
Afghanistan .. Taliban? Are you serious? Have you not read the Fed reports saying that the Taliban is back to pre 9/11 strength? Have you not read the reports from the generals on the ground in Afghanistan that have say were are loosing the battle in a big way?
British Generals
US General
This General says we are not loosing but not winning fast enough
And the Taliban:
Christian Science Monitor.
Gees, you are as bad as Dapoes when it comes to researching anything.
. Typical blather. Are you seriously still on the same warpath of the Bush lied mantra? Dude(or woman) what planet are you from, really? Did you not pay attention at the time when YOUR UN,(Remember UN inspectors) YOUR Oh so friendly, "pals" of Europe, and EVERYONE, including the much heralded former Clinton Admin, READ; HIS State Dept, CIA,JCS,NSA military Intell. All.....Every one....Said the same thing President Bush said. Oh, wait a minute......news flash, the Prez doesn't give his thoughts in an open speech until he gets info from all his intell agencies, (former and current employees I may add, some Department levels are "career", not appointed) Iraq was a threat. That was the Intell availiable at the time, and BEFORE MR Bush. Were things handled incorrectly after we got there?......You bet. That is another thread. But, if you still believe the "Bush lied" garbage, Sir/ Maddam, you have not a clue. Not really. Bush got support for his invasion because he was able to convince people that Iraq was responsible at least in part for the attacks on the US. When we all found out that Bush lied about that and other things, then the US lost interest in the occupation/nation building of Iraq on our dime to the tune of $1,000,000,000,000 a year. No idea how he got four more years.
Gee Wiz.....novaqt,.........................."I'll be "Hog Tied" if I can figure out...WHAT the HEL* you are Talking about, with reference to some post I made on this thread, regarding ..W's "Inexperience" ???????????
However, since you asked,...............Howdy Doody did have MORE foreign policy exposure than that IMBECILE did !
