Where is the FAMILY Values Outrage directed at this P O S ?

While BC was a... p o s for the Monica thing, the Irony is....that BC was being hunted by a much bigger
P O S !

I can't wait to here the excuses for defending P O S Gingrich, coming from Ralph Reed, Tony Perkins and James Dobson.

When it comes to hypocracy,..........NOTHING will Ever top a Republican Evangelical christian P O S ! !

The Family Values crew endorsed Santorum.

Yes Dog thats correct, however I keep hearing Gingrich espousing sanctity of marriage BS over and over again. (Dog, I wonder WHICH Marriage this P O S was referring to) ?

Life is good/Lean Forward !

I think it is a case of 'if my guy does it it's OK if your guys does it, he's scum'. Then you have the fact that Gingrich said he was sorry. So all is good. Never mind the fact that he screwed over two women and the fact that he is the guy fighting for traditional marriage. In his defense he never said that you could not get married more than once and that you could not cheat. Also, given that 50% of marriages in the US end in divorce I guess he is doing his part in defending the tradition that is getting married, screwing around, getting divorced .... repeat as necessary.

OH yea, how could I forget. He loves his country so much that he worked to hard and screwed around on his wives. Way to take one for the team.

I was watching a bit of the debate tonight. Santorum ripped him a new one. Basically said that he worked with Gingrich when he was Speaker and that Gingrich could not stay focused. Gingrich got kicked out of the Speaker position and basically out of Congress by his own people. Pretty heated exchange. I was laughing my butt off.

The fact that John King brought up the issue on what is an alleged serious debate of the issues I found disturbing to be polite. When the bias is as blatant against Republicans and Ron Paul as it is in the MSM then I think you understand why Ron Paul has to date garnered 50% of the under 30 vote. Why? because most rely on other sources for their news IMO. Additionally Newt has decided to come out swinging, taking Mr King of CNN to task for his blatant bias the former Speaker said, “I am tired of the elite media protecting Barack Obama by attacking Republicans.”

I for one am tired of the MSN & I include Fox in that cabal of dim wit talking heads and it's about time for ALL of us to tell them to pizz off, Get your news elsewhere. That tide of sentiment is rising and it's long overdue in boiling to the surface. This is the reason that both Gingrich and Paul have a shot at beating both Romney AND Obama. I'm convinced in my gut the reason the two are doing as well as they have is the average American has an inate sense of fair play and love them or hate them, Stevie Wonder could see they aren't getting a fair shake.

There is a whole lot of anger out here in the USA and somebody is going to take a hit for it. I think it explains Huntsman, Perry & to a lesser extent Bachmann's dismal performance, same for Pawlenty.

Wow,.............speaking of "T-Paw" Sparrow, he was by Far the best of a poor lot.(Yes I know you reside in Minnesote)(a really nice state) !

You can BLAST me all you want Sparrow, but I'm gonna' tell you something that I KNOW, without a Doubt !

If they Ever give an Enema to the lower 48, it's SC that they insert the tube. SC is the MOST racist, hatefull, biased state in America. Proud of thier being the first to succeed (SP?) from the union and all the Horse Shite that goes with it. (Want to see the Devil, next time he's on TV, take a good look into the eyes of Senator Demint) !!!

Finally my point. Those SC mega-hypocrits(family values, christion conservatives) will cast aside those "quality's" in a NY minute to accomplish thier Ultimate Goal, that being the defeat of a 1/2 Black president.
What they're saying publicly about endorsing Santorum, and what lever they're pulling behind the curtain(NEWT) are two different things. How those phoneys can give Gingrich a standing " O ", knowing full well what a P O Crap he is, yet trumpeting thier phoney F V's, is truly mind boggling. Hel*, the tea party only is luke warm to that Loser !

Gingrich can cry all he wants but I believe in his case the question was entirely warranted. He is a hypocrite and he knows it and now everyone else does as well. When you tout family values and traditional marriage while you are banging away with a woman who are not your wife while your current wife is sick and then you do it again, well that really goes to credibility of which he has none.

Gingrich and Santorum are going to go the way of Perry, Hunstman, Bachmann..... and the rest in my opinion. It will come down to Paul and Romney and Paul will throw his hat in with Romney. Then the conservative right will have to determine if they hate mormons or Obama more. I love election years.

I'm OK with Jim DeMint actually. Not all hot to trot, just OK.

I've spent a fair amount of time in SC on business and pleasure and I will go this far towards agreeing with you. There is a very strong undercurrent of racism in SC. it's right under the surface and being both white AND a Yankee I always got the feeling that I wasn't all that far from an invitation to a cross lighting ceremony. the "Vibe" is there, that's for sure.

As for the Family Values crowd, you are IMO running some of this through your atheist prism and being a bit unfair although I should add that while I am a man of deep personal faith, you and I likely hold similar viewpoints regarding the various church organizations and that's a whole thread in and of itself.

One of the things I absolutely loathe about the Conservative movement is this tendency to take the Bible, Declaration of Independence, Ron Reagan and wrap it up in the American Flag. This, however is not unique to SC. Perhaps just more visible there. As to your comments regarding hypocrisy, no less then Jesus himself railed not against sin but hypocrisy a fact ignored by the modern Church. After-all he threw the money lenders out of the Temple not for being sinners, but for being Hypocrites. To single out SC in this regard fails to give credit to the rest of the hypocrites.

All well and fine but looks like he kicked MSM's butt last night, and his polling isn't dropping.

Two standing ovations in the debates and Gingrich got both. He'll carry the Conservatives.

The problems plaguing this country go beyond some antigue quiff.

I thought you really could care about a pol's past sex life....I think I read that here somewhere....

I thought conservatives were all about family values and the sanctity of marriage? I mean they hounded Bill Clinton before his election and the eight years he was president about what he was doing. How ironic would it be that the party that portrays itself as the standard bearer for those two issues turns around and nominates a guy who makes Bill look like Wrad Cleaver.

Can't stand it that no one has mentioned Ron Paul for the past five minutes?

Judge not, lest Ye be judged.

Either way, if Newt gets the nomination no Republican should ever again get on a soap box about those two issues.

I have never been to SC so I cannot comment on that but you are not the first I have heard mention that.

I am not sure how I am being unfair. I hold my wife trust in e paramount. I hold the sanctity of marriage very dear to my heart but from the perspective of trust, honor and friendship. I do not care who gets married. The right seems to look at marriage as a standard bearer, not a act of love. They almost seem to have a medieval view on it in that it is merely about making a statement rather than the belief that it is about two (or more) people who love each other. The fact that over fifty percent of marriages end in divorce is proof alone that marriage is no longer sacred or important and Gingrich has done more than his fair share to promote the down fall of marriage than most.

When you go around touting that you are the defender of traditional marriage while you have betrayed two women you have a problem. When you are voting against equal rights and promoting legislation that inhibits equal rights at the same time you are banging your Congressional page or tapping your feet in the bathroom you have a problem.

While I disagree with these view points at the very least if someone is going to promote them they damn well ought to live by them. When someone promotes abstinence and no one in their family including them selves is capable of doing it, then you have a credibility issue and in my opinion you need to rethink your stance.

As far as social issues are concerned, the right wingers seem to have a huge issue with reality and their belief structure.
