Let me say at the outset, that NO carrier is doing well on the NYSE.

Having said THAT,.......are "Penny Stocks"..NEAR, in LCC's future ?

It may just be a penny stock next week.

Outlook not so good.

Want to spend that money on stocks with a future? I know I do!

Particle Drilling sells at $2.34.

Particle Drilling Technologies, Inc., a development stage company, engages in the development of a proprietary drilling system for oil and gas industry in the United States. The company's technology is designed to increase the rate-of-penetration in the drilling process, primarily in hard rock drilling environments. Its system is designed to entrain, circulate, and recover the particles in the mud system without allowing the particles to circulate through the rig pumps.

Particle Drilling IMHO has a future. That hard rock that covers the ocean of oil in this country... this gizmo will cut through that like a hot knife through butter.

Until the oil bubble bursts, LCC stock has no future. However, it is a speculative play. You could spend little and end up with a tidy fortune, if the bubble bursts. A frog could grow wings so he doesn't have to bounce around on his butt... Myrtle the Turtle could win the Indy 500...

Very interesting slide show--just glad my employer didn't make the cut.

Thanks for that link. So many memories. Of course, my first airplane flight was 51 years ago; so, I remember a lot of those airlines.

BTW, I had forgotten about the fact that some planes were boarded from the rear. In fact, IIRC, when the DC9/MD-80 first went into service, they used the aft stairs in stations where you had to walk out onto the ramp to board.

Now that I have seriously dated myself, I think I'll go back to my high-fiber cereal supper.

Aaah....the pre-jetway days of air travel! I think that the steps leading to the rear of the aircraft lent a certain degree of glamour to the whole experience.

I was actually on a LO flight in May which boarded from the front and the rear. It was very chaotic, because most people were not intelligent enough to board at the appropriate end of the plane. There was nothing glamorous about this flight, by the way.

LCC stock is UP 59% to $4.27 today and the market still has 35 minutes left. Does anyone know what is going on ? Granted all airlines are up today but in the 18-20% range. UAUA is up about the same as LCC today.
