What's new

LCC closed today at $ 1.71

If I had any cash I would have bought it at $1.71. But
then again If I'd have had any cash I would have bought
it when it was $12.00. If I have any cash I'd buy it right
now. Relying on nothing but intuition I'm thinking it will
go as high as $16.00 within a year. So for all of you
who do have cash or flexible assets I'm giving a strong
BUY recommendation for LCC. Before you act, however,
you should know that this source only recently realized
that it was LCC and not LLC.

Folks, we have to give parker a little credit. If he didn't think the stock was going to go up, he wouldn't have bought it. CEOs buying its own company stock is one of the first indicators that they know something we don't. When he bought, I bought. 100 shares isn't a lot but if it goes up to 10.00 a share. I might have a smile on my face. I don't believe we're(US) going anywhere. Bought the fact that we're charging for everything now adds to our bottom line and makes the share holders money. I'm an employee and a share holder and I want this company to succeed on for two reasons now.

It's still going up. $7.96 on 16.75m shares traded. Maybe our latest options might be worth something. hhmm never mind. Anyway at least its some good news for now.

Be very careful. You are betting on the cost of FUEL, not the strength, quality of the company or the management. Airline stocks are a day traders dream, and they go up and down based on the price of oil. The first day that oil goes up $3 bucks, the stock will drop at least 10%...

Don't you guys think that Doug Parker, bankruptcy's self-proclaimed biggest fan, would think twice about plunging this thing into bankruptcy right now if it served his personal interests. I remember those speeches where he spoke of the tremendous benefits of bankruptcy that they had to take advantage of before the company emerged.

I'd be very careful with a guy on record as stating those sort of things.

Tried this morning to buy LCC shares. The brokerage didn't allow it as I'm an employee. Weird. Went and became a United Airlines investor and I am already pleased. I always liked UAL. Nice employees. Good class of people.

Two years from now, people will be kicking themselves wondering why they didn't buy LCC stock when it was $1.71. It can't go much lower, unless the company liquidates. More than likely, oil prices will fall, airlines will become profitable again and LCC stock will be 10 times what it is worth today. Buy now!!!

I will resurect this thread in a year or two as a reminder for those who did not take my advice.

I guess I didn't have to wait a year. Should have taken my own advise. It's up to $9.52 now.
