You are the first I have heard of. I have not been scheduled for anything like that yet nor any other c/c that I know of. But it looks like this is going to be a requirement for all of us sooner or later. Is any other Crew Chief being required to take leadership E-Courses at Flagship University?
These courses are a result of how a crew chief performs on their review.

Leadership and Team Building so far.Just curious; what concepts do these courses cover?
I am actually still in the process. I have taken six courses out of approximately 50+ , so I have many more hours to go.Thanks for the info.
Having taken them, do you think they're worthwhile, or is the usual "hurray for everything" type stuff most of us get to see during company training (in other words, not very worthwhile in the real world-or out on the floor).

These courses have been designed by those in cubicles that have no real idea about what mechanics do. They are designed for a manufacturing environment and we repair the aircraft not manufacture them.
The core seems to be that every crew chief can be improved and that is probably true, however until management and mechanic on the floor blend together we will fail to achieve any goal of true quality.
Looks like they are trying to implement terms from the Term Sheet while still in negotiations, file a grievance.
