As of March 31, the flight departure display screens are back. This is nice, since on my last couple of trips I had to wander from gate to gate to see if it was my flight.

It really is bizarre. They have been blank for a long time. I mean weeks. As the throngs of SWA people roam around it is a bit embarrasing to have blank screens even more so for such a long time.
Don't get me wrong those screens have been there since I came on board in '86. They are so old that the flights and gates are burned into the surface of the screen. SFO gate 4A on the half hour SFO gate 4B on the hour.

They're back in the club, as well. I had to do a double-take yesterday when I saw them. It sure took long enough!

In Philly, it would be nice just to have current/updated info on their displays. Last night I was at PHL and US had a flight now boarding at 8pm. The flight left at 8am. Plus there were a number of flights, mainly AA and YX that just had posted Delayed. Philly changed their system into a new century, just not the 21st.
