I am not perverse enough to track down your every act of misogyny, obsession with gay partnerships, fixation on male genitalia, and blind admiration for Sarah Palin's fashion sense.

Not to mention your calling Kansas one of the greatest bands of all time.

Kansas?

'Dog,..........this will seem a lil' strange,..(kinda' agreeing with our boy 'southie) but with regard to the band ..'Kansas',....their song ..'Dust in the Wind'....Was a really good song, by the type of bands that I NEVER gravitated towards.....back in the day.

NOW, add in thier Lyrics, which were great back when they recorded the song,.................AND THEN........apply those Lyrics to the FAST EVAPORATING ..Republican Party,......well, what else can be said. THEY / IT are ...'DYNAMITE' !! 😉

What is yoour plan for reducing unwanted pregnancies and the abortions that go with them?

The ONLY way to achieve a reduction is to win the hearts and minds of those of child bearing age. Abortions are down and many have stated this is due to the economy. Also Contraception is up among teens. This means that individuals ARE taking responsibility for their actions.

Despite what Pro-Lifers may argue, right now this is not a moral issue but one of public health and should be treated as such. Teh limited role of government should be that of an educator and facillitator, NOT a funder of social programs that go beyond the basice public health concerns.

Because they are not entitlements. That's like saying my 401k is an entitlement.

Or any of my insurance policies that may have to pay out are entitlements.

I paid for what you call an entitlement. Social Security and medicare is not a right. If you didnt pay into it, you will never get anything out of it.

I know several self employed people who lived large when they were young but dont have a pot to piss in because they "screwed the govt" by cheating on taxes. No savings and no social security. Sucks to be them.

Really, so everyone that lives in the U.S. that accepts unemployment checks, welfare checks, section 8 housing, SS, SnapCards , MediCare-Cade, has put money into the system....................right ?

Apparently some people think our tax code is perfect, all 70,000 pages !

You got something against Herman ? I personally think your a racist !

I'll put it this way Tree, as you brought "Heat of the Moment" encounters into the picture earlier, are those 2 people, if condoms are even on their mind A. going to the local Mini-Mart, 2 mins. up the street to buy a condom or B. going to the health clinic , across town ?

And why is it, whenever a Democrat talks about cuts you never hear the word "Entitlement's" mentioned ?

Why is it Republicans seem to think you eliminate the deficit by cutting things like planned parenthood, PBS, NPR etc? When you mention things like farm subsidies, tax breaks for oil companies, ethanol subsidies, cuts in defense spending, etc they have a fit?

I agree that the they have increased and that is a very good thing. How over in comparison to every western nation we still have the highest by a substantial margin.

I am not sure what programs you are referring too but I would like to see real sex ed brought back into the school system. I would like to see contraceptives free in all elementary, junior and high school.

I would rather not havery government funds go to planned parent hood type facility but I do not see any viable alternative to the services they offer at the price that they offer them. I still maintain that I think it is cheaper for us to have a PP type facility than to not have one.

If the goal is to prevent abortions I have yet to hear of a republican presenting a solution.

It is a simple plan from the far right. It is called:

Unplanned Parenthood.

The CEO will be Bristol Palin.

The Just Ain't Right alternative is Involuntary Abstinence.

For people too disgusting to mate.

The likely answer for the lower rates is that abortion is socially unacceptable. Thus my hearts and minds argument. The best thing I can use for an example is Germany/ A country well noted for its fine beers. Being drunk in public is just something you do NOT do under any circumstances. It's just taboo. Same for most European Countries and I suspect Abortion is part of a similar mindset.

The role of government is to preserve liberty, not take the place of parents. The "price" rises when parents and children take ownership. While well meaning the government teaching of Birth-Control & Contraception is not an approprite roll. Using the Presidency as a bully pulpit andPSA announcements to parents is the appropriate roll.

Well Planned Parenthood has got to go. All funds are fungible and due to that fact alone any organisation that performs abortions would also get no federal funding. Liberty rquires responsibility in order to flourish. If you eliminate PP you'll see a rise in cost and as we know from reports and basic economics that if the price goes up on ANYTHING it can change peoples buying habits of that service or product.

If the goal is to prevent abortions I have yet to hear of a republican presenting a solution.

I do not think the lower abortions aabortions rate has much to with social taboo's. If you look at their teen pregnancy rate it is much much lower abortions(along with the rest of Europe) than the US. They have comprehensive sex ed and contraceptives are wily available. Their new on sex is also much more liberal the here in the US.

Get rid of PP and I think you will see a huge increase in premature babies, birth defects, women with end stage cancers..... Get rid of them with out a replacement and I think the and result will be far more costly.

I don't think cost is going to come in play when Pete are screwing around. Then there are all the other services that PP provides.

Cheeze....
