No doubt! In the airline world, "Big Announcement" has got to be one of the all-time biggest ( and most tired ) cliche used in the last 25 years.

Come on folks....Parker is not the worsed thing that has happened to this airline. We've had a long history of schmucks. And to be fair, his regime was not responsible for the cookies, the license plate holder, or the candle, I mean cheese.

A major announcement on the 4th? A Tuesday? US? Not US style. Fridays at 1701 is "big announcement" time.

Tempe is a lot like AFA 66, the employees will never be happy with who runs the show.

Nope, but he was responsible for the SHARES cutover, the lack of decent service aboard the airplanes, the horrible reconfigurations of the A330, A321 (causing fuel stops on transcons), the A319 reconfiguration, the horrible operational performance and the last place in the Zagat Rankings.
