Hi Everyone,

Your favorite company communications guy chiming in. Doug isn't resigning and has said publicly several times that he's here for the long haul.

Hope everyone is winding down after the busy holiday week. Please drop me a line if I can be of help to you.

Thanks,
Morgan Durrant
US Airways
Corporate Communications

Thanks Morgan, but in light of the recently announced compensation package, several airline execs clamouring for consolidation, and the 800 pound gorilla's divestiture of it's Eagle operation - I'm going to remain just the tiniest bit sceptical.

I didn't know Elise Eberwein posted on here !!!

Sorry, but not working for the company anymore. Rather than whine and moan, I left and started working somewhere else where I am happy and making much more money.

I'm glad I don't work there anymore if it means working with endless whiners.

And ALPO seems to be talking about scope (the most important thing in a merger) and inventing new procedures beyond the constitution and bylaws for a three pilot panel that was staffed without being advertized for candidates, and a panel that now seems to have a secret mission with secret authoritites. All in reference to a counter proposal to management when supposedly there is no joint negotiating taking place in accordance with all the public resolutions and public statements of the MEC.

MEC CODE-A-PHONE UPDATE
November 29, 2007

This is Arnie Gentile with a US Airways MEC update for Thursday, November 29th, with two new items.

Item 1. The US Airways MEC took the opportunity last night during their special conference call meeting to have open and frank discussions on the consideration of a process that could be used to develop a comprehensive counter proposal to management, which would include any agreed upon settlement of seniority integration issues, and any JNC contract items. Of particular interest to the MEC is the three-person panel that, if called upon to do so, would represent the East pilots with any future talks with their West counterparts. Issues of scope, protocol and authority of the three-person US Airways East panel were discussed in closed session.

Whining about whiners whining.

Can't you whine about about whiners whining about whiners whining about whining about whiners?

This one is meandering too much. Time to close it. If there is an announcement on the 4th start a new topic.
