Looks like Palm Beach to ORD diverted to MIA. Might land in a few minutes.

The stupid reporter can't tell a MD-80 from a 737. Everytime they have an AA plane in sight, here it comes.

The media is disappointed - landed without incident.

Yeah they are disappointed because all the commercials they missed showing.

🙄 Somehow, I doubt the coverage was as intense as Rick Sanchez yelling "A SCARE IN THE AIR ON AMERICAN AIRLINES!!" like he used to do during his WSVN channel 7 News days in Miami.

You really have to laugh at the news coverage of these things...I know at JFK these so called "emergency landings" happen quite often without incident.. without news coverage...
With this MD80 incident, when the aircraft did a flyby, the reporter said it was a blown tire cause he saw something protruding from the nose tires.. and what he was looking at was the nose gear spray deflector.
