I don't know? I did cost out what they pay as far as a/c movement and fuel burn and what they/we pay is amazing. We could save at least $50k a month

on just those 2 item alone. I wasn't privy as to cost for gate space/ctr space etc. I did find out though that ATA had good gate space and Alaska is going to

end up with that. We are so LCC that even the new guys in town get what they want before we do............................

Why don't we just buy Frontier, and viola, Airbus's and Denver. No need for a United merge.
What US buy F9? Please no. plus what is US going to do with all those DirecTV's? Then US will have a major problem, the Q-400. Maybe they can put the Q400's on the PHX-HNL flights.
 
Aloha contract services employees now work for PAC ( Pacific Air Cargo ). They have no pass agreements with US as of May 30 due to the fact that US

gave 60 day notice because of AQ being in the position they were in. US will be going with HA as a servicing contract only for Above/Below wing starting

June.

Thanks Mike33, I knew someone would have the skinny. I have a family member that was with AQ and was planning to non-rev to the mainland for my daughters graduation, but now that option's a bust. Just got her a confirmed tkt on .... US.

I would still call USairways and verify that they don't still have the 2 that they earned.................The main problem after talking to employees on maui was

that they no longer have an airline ID in their possesion. You can see how that would create a probem in the middle of travel.....

At the rate things are going - people can find themselves in the middle of traveling and find that the AIRLINE doesn't exist anymore....You can see how that would create a problem.

I think she is surrendering to the Airline Gods. Flights are pretty full anyway, it would have been iffy at best.
 
why does everybody hate the Q400 so much? They aren't that bad. Only people that should complain are us rampers because the bins are a pain in the butt to load. But like everything else you get used to it.
