With Sunday(1/4) being the (unofficial) Last day of the holiday season(Thanksgiving thru New Years), ...It's NOW time to stare REALITY(the economy etc.) Squarely.."in the Kisser" !!!
It's not as though Americans were not aware of the "situation" these last 0-6 months, it's just that there have been "events" to temporarily distract folks, be it the election, holidays, or(as for up here) power outages(HUGE ICE STORM).
Wall street traditionally looks upon today(the first monday after the new year) to crank up the market to "all ahead full, or REVERSE"
