Todays recall class 7/30 only had 17 of 31 show up for class. All this when there are 76 of us being Held Against Our Will at PSA. All assigned A319 10-PHL 7-DCA, this from someone who sat in on class.

Just a quick question. When you say all assigned to the A-319, does that mean they will only fly the A-319, or the entire A-320 class of aircraft?

Might be a few more gone from there. Another person said that a few showed up, but depending on what equipment or base they got, they'd be gone in short order. So who knows....

O.K. Clear the list........OVER - UNDER: 1 September 2008

Ouch. That's gotta give the folks in resource planning a migraine.

31 in a class? looks like they already planned that about 10 were going to change their mind at the last minute. Can't blame the pilots. Under a forced recall I would accept too and make the decision to show or resign at the last minute.

"Forced Recall"?? Can you believe it.

"Forced Recall" to an ALPA mainline carrier? What a new, innovative concept brought to you by none other than the cream of unions, yours truly, ALPA.

How is the "forced recall" at American? Oh, never mind, there isn't one, its just a recall to a real mainline job. Didn't ALPA get AA pilots to rejoin ALPA yet?

If only they had a good contract to return to it would make it easier for them. Good job East MEC/ALPA.

The fact that they were all stapled below Save-a-Dave has nothing to do with it either? Thanks St. Nic!

Probably very little, its all economic and QOL. US ain't got it thanks to the GAG.

The fact that any journeymen were stapled below apprentices should make any union member "sore".

What makes you think that and unemployed individual who had NO hopes of ever returning to USAir without merger is entitled to knock an employed individual whos has been flying daily down the list??? By your logic should we get the pilots of Braniff and Pan Am and place them ahead of you??? You see that's the problem, you feel like you are entitled and that we in the west should pay that tab for you.

I am sore that people can't own up to their responsibilities and take credit for their actions. We never had to be here but because some feel like they are owed something we are... <_<
