More twu concessions on the way

Contracting limits: 48% of labor dollars for AC maintenance excluding PBH contracts, various other percentage limitations on other M&R work. (Note: The more you are paid the more they can outsource!)

A classic quote from the propaganda machine
Page 64 under work rules. Of course this was next to NWA

So in other words the less we make the less AA will outsource. Minimum wage is next on the agenda.

FYI: Big Donny V. left yesterday for France to check out their MRO's their and also Lufthansa Technics. He wants to know why they are more efficient workers than we are. A few AMT's offered him the answer with France and Germany's 8 weeks of vacation and better medical, but he said that times are still rough and the company could never afford that.

BTW: I wonder who is paying for Don's trip?

Also, I wonder who paid ECLAT for the presentation this time, the company or the twu. Afterall, they both did for the selling of concessions, nice sure whose turn it is to pick up the tab.

With the TWU negotiating our next contract its time to fold'em and grab the KY.

The TWU has already sold us out a year in advance.

Do you really think we still need the K-Y?
The last concession package did the trick for future concessions for decades to come

Transport Workers Union of America

The best Union any Company can buy.

You left out the most important one

A 35 hour work week
😉

With the demise of AMFA, the TWU has no threat to force them to act like a union.

There will be concessions every contract and concessionary letters of agreement in between.

Since TWU appears to be a wholly owned subsidary of AMR...Are we allowed to just pay our dues directly to AA? It seems like a good cost cutting measure to eliminate the middle-man. 🙂

God bless the rank and file,
Darryl

Wrench, I do not believe that AMFA has accepted their demise. What AMFA was, is and will always be is about accountability in a craft, democratic union for AMTs. With that said, as long as there are those of us who believe in these virtues there will always be a threat to the opposite, ie. the twu international.

To answer the question as to who is paying Don V.'s way to France I would guess he is. After all, the twu international officers DID NOT take a pay cut equal to the one we did when we were all sharing in the sacrifice. (Either was management.) So, I'm sure that Don can foot a bill to France.

You're right, Ken. I should have said "with the demise of AMFA as an immediate threat......"

I have wishes for the success of AMFA, but I just don't see it happening soon.

You guys have got it all wrong about the next TWU contract at AA. The TWU will get us all a 45% raise and get back our vacation. Doubletime will also be put back in our contract along with our five missing holidays. The TWU will even get back our paid lunch and our health benefits will all be free of charge! It's time to stop bashing the TWU and the company. They really, really care about us and want us to be happy!!!
