Mothers who can't control their children

Really?

I've seen it more times than I care to remember... Hang out with a cleaning crew for awhile, and I guarantee you you'll see fun stuff like this often..

I have the utmost respect for our aircraft cleaners....I am sure they have seen worse, I am just a flight attendant and not privey to some of things the cleaners have to deal with. But you have my word.............I would never have let this happen on my plane. I would have given this mother a bag and told her she had to pick up after her children. If you clean the planes; thank you for what you do.

Luckily, I no longer have to clean planes...

Some of the things I've seen left behind defy logic. I'm sure there are many many others on here who have similar tales.

Kudos to you for being proactive when you see things like this starting to unfold.

In all my years of flying, I have never seen this kind of mess.

Ewww! This must be the family I usually get stuck sitting next to on the NYC-LAX flight- they have "stereo" twins who compete with each other in a hi fi screech contest and a toddler that either hangs over the seat annoying the person behind them or wants to run up and down the aisle smacking people on his journey to the 1st class lav, a teen who blares his game boy till the batteries run out and the 5 year old that keeps kicking the seat in front of them....all while mom or dad are oblivious or better yet are sitting 2 rows up so they dont have to deal with them.

The airlines should do like the hotels and charge a cleaning fee to peoples credit cards when they trash the place

Welcome to the hefty bag crowd.
Makes you wonder what their house looks like.

I will always make sure that the crew that cleans our aircraft never has to deal with kind of bs. I will make sure that I give the family the gray bag and tell them to pick up after the kids. Also I make sure they drop the tray tables and wipe them off.

I would rather see them charge for the clean up fee or charge them for breaking the overhead bin with the oversized bags.

I worked Cabin Service for some time, and this is the stuff that makes you want to find the pax in the terminal and bring them back to clean their mess up, with that said the FA should really try and keep soemthing like that from getting out of control.........

 CABIN SERVICE

As one of your customers I'm appalled by this. There is no reason why people can't pick up after themselves.

A couple months ago I was on the PIT to FLL flight and I was the only through passenger so I decided to remain on the plane since it was only a 1 hour layover.

I was sitting in FC and decided to help the crew clean up FC. Boy was I shocked at how much crap people purposely leave in the seatbacks.

The crew was in shock that I was helping them clean up and I told them I didn't mind. Even one of the supervisors came on board to talk with the F/A's and her mouth dropped when she saw me cleaning up the FC cabin. The cleaners came on board and were surprised to see how much I had piled up for them.

It made their job easier on this flight.

I've never left anything in a seatback or on my seat in general. I make sure I pass my trash to the F/A's as the go through the cabin.

People like this customer in the link should start driving their own cars to their destinations. They are PIGS.

It's amazing how much this small act helps things moving along...

What's more amazing is how attached people seem to be to their stuff when an F/A runs through the cabin, and how fast that fades when it's time to deplane...

I won't leave anything in a seat pocket (well, maybe my glasses once!)
We clean our hotel room and put all the glasses by the sink, towels in the tub or floor and all trash in a bin. Maids love us!!
I fly alot of business class and some of the revenue pax leave their "space" almost that filthy.
My husband's children are slobs but they have to clean up when they are here. I can tell you what their house looks like--those seat photos!!

to me, I almost feel guilty if I do not put the towels in the tub or somewhat tidy the room before I leave! almost like it is rude or something..!
one thing I will do, is pull all the sheets.. blankets.. off the bed and lay them neatly at the end of the bed, that way I know they have to make the bed up with...different sheets.
