From what I've gleaned is he was extremely pro nuke........but after what has transpired in his country he is seeing things differently.

Yes and that is the fundamental mis understanding with whats really going on in Iran. There will be no real change unless the whole structure of Supreme Leader and various senior councils are to be disbanded.
