National is looking for new investors... again...

I realized I forgot UA with the 1st type about an hour ago. It's also interesting to note that Icelandair and BA are problably the only two non-charter/holiday European carriers that operate the 757. BTW, Icelandair uses the 1st type with overwing exits. If you see a 757 with both overwing exits and 4 doors/side, it is a 757-300!

It's also interesting to note that the 767 also has options on number of doors. BA, HA, ex Gulf Air 763's at DL and some old TWA 763's had more than the fore and aft doors and overwing exits. But this is getting waaaaaay off topic.

[P]I didn't realize the 6 exit / 2 OW Exit variation was so common! I thought it was more of an unusual bird. I guess not.[/P]
[P]Regardless, my understanding is that N7's 757's come from a variety of lessors and backgrounds (they even used to have a few factory-fresh aircraft). My understanding is that they are not a cohesive, common fleet. But maybe I am wrong, as this is hear-say and not direct knowledge.[/P]
[P]Meanwhile, I am off to find some B757-200's with over wing exits! [/P]
