What's new

New BOB snacks and soft drinks

I will NEVER make a first class passenger pay for something. I think it's tacky and downright wrong considering how much that "upgraded" passenger pays to get up there 99.9% of the time. That said, I'm just repeating EXACTLY what the product specialist told me about the specialty bevs. She said that once the first class stock is depleated you are to charge the next f/c passenger if you have to get the item from the back. Does it sound like it makes sense? Well of course not. Just look around. If the pax in 3F wants a Starbucks and we're out up front I'll be heading to the back to grab my cooooooool coffee. 😉

People, we have been taking care of FC/ FF pax for years! Why are we up in arms about this? We will continue the good service we have always provided. 😛h34r:

Walk to the back if you are out in FC. Relax. 🙄

Next thing you'll tell me is that good Picante Sauce is made in New York City! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSxnieYctVM
What your forgetting is that your on a plane not at 7-eleven. My friends and I go to Manhattan and pay $16 for a drink rather then stay in Queens and pay $10 for the same drink. Pizza in Manhattan is $4 a slice in Queens its $2. If your in the mood for it YOU WILL PAY no matter what.

This is true! I guess we just get a little upset when Tempe wont treat first class like first class should be treated.

I take great care of my first class passengers all the time. I always have and I always will. Sure can't say the same for management though. I am by no means "up in arms" about the issue but find it right on par that we have "SPECIALISTS" out there that are not on the same page and giving out incorrect information. It's like a teacher giving out wrong information from their lesson plan then failing you on the test. This just falls in line with everything else around here. No info given as to what you are "technically" suppose to do in a situation. Just a vague piece of paper. It's not rocket science but at the same time don't policies/procedures need to be written and made available to all? Class act as usual. Oh bother way can they fit more items to sell on that cart?

it's beyond frustrating...and, bother way, when p&p isn't followed consistently by all who are obligated to it, there is legal precedence negating the "controlling" p&p. this has more to do with punitive discretion; nevertheless, it has everything to do with this company imposing one set of compulsory standards and selectively enforcing--via lack of submition and accountability--another.

more to come on that...and, i cannot wait!!

"what your union won't do for you and with your money...do for yourself" has become my new slogan.

LOL, ask inflight told me the official answer is when you are out in FC then you are out. No taking from coach. I ask if they planned on letting FAs know and did they plan on issuing a CBS and their responce was this is the first they have heard of the issue. *shrug* It is rather funny that the company just assumes FAS Know that they are not suppose to take items from the coach supply.

LOL

I heard from a specialist in LGA today that if a crew member wants a Starbucks or Redbull they will have to pay the $3.00. What a joke! Another slap in the face from Tempe.

Yeah, like the crew paying for a $7 BOB sandwich? And do any of you really think the bev carts are being inventoried? If you believe THAT, I have a piece of property in the Everglades that will perk.

Inventoried? HUHHHHHHH! ! ! ! I needed a little air so I stood in the aisle by the back galley as the caterers "dumb and dumber" took my carrier off that had the individual sale items and restocked it as the other held it on top of my new beverage cart that was incoming. PLEEEEEEEASE. Caterers (not all dumb and dumber btw) before anyone takes offense to that comment do what they have to do to get the plane done and move on. We ALL have a job to do and those that make the procedures or lack thereof have no idea what they're doing. They can take something as small as selling a friggin' starbucks frap and screw it up. Bravo....to all in inflight.........BRAVO. Take a bow.

Talked to someone today who flew FC and he said that the A F/A read the new menu of drinks and he thought she did a great job with the service--very friendly and great service.

OMG that was meeeeeeee. Did he say he liked my hair and my tight zip up dress? I just bought my hair yesterday on South st. I was out there WORKIN' that cabin GURL. He didn't give me my damn A&B coupon though. To think I did extra bending and EVERYTHING. Damn it. Frappuccino or Debbitini anyone? 😀

You don't even want to know what my Inflight Market Place flights consisted of. I am so pissed, if I could reach my own butt I would bite it. And AskInflight is off the hook out of touch silly. I want to reach thought the computer and "touch someone". So, once I unwind and calm down I will say some things. Right now I need to breath and cleanse the stupidity away. Mad MoJo
