The problem is that inflight creates procedures and implements ideas without any regard to how it will impact the flight attendant group. Look, we moan and complain on this board as a bit of an outlet but out on the line I know what works. We as a group also know what needs to be done. I am so tired of being treated like mice by management. Are these the same management inherited from America West in Tempe that put Elvis on aircraft? I will do whatever it takes to get through my service with minimal impact to our paying passengers. I WILL NOT play with that HHD for a lengthy period of time like a child with a gameboy. I also WILL NOT be told to "ask inflight" when the only information you receive from them is a jerkoff response. They create this stuff THEN....and THEN put so called "specialists" out on the line to "preach the gospel" to us about what needs to be done and how to do it. Blow it out of your ditty bag. I mean really...transfer that, count this, refund that, swipe this, charge first class, primary device..... How about this. Catering loads the crap onto the aircraft, the f/a turns on the HHD and sells. PERIOD. Let those that "have all the ideas" do the dirty work in their cubicle with an abacus and figure it all out. 🙄
