some of our current east 757's will be converted into etops a/c.

It appears we are doing the same at DL. This, after they said we would ONLY fly wide bodies over the ponds. Has anybody worked a 757 to Europe? Is it a nightmare? Is there anywhere to hide from the passengers? I hope they're really short flights, i.e. jfk-lgw.
 
Delta people are really getting irritating - sort of like roaches. Keep it up and we'll name the new airline: "US Airways".

Note all 3 flights are in/out of Terminal B. Looks like Parker hasn't yet gotten the additional gates and they'll be using the remote people movers to get arrivals to Immigration/Customs. This is possibly just an interim solution to get bookings started and until the probability of the takeover is better determined.

There are some fine people at usair. However, usair is LCC, = Low Class Carrier, in my opinion. That is why they want to buy Delta. Usair goes nowhere. Look at the debt they have! Good grief! DAL flys to fabulous destinations. DAL has the equipment and crew to do the job. It is so obvious usair employees want the merger to happen, it's a great advantage to them.

Usair can't schedule, handle bags,or intergrate the senority list, not to mention DAL pays more than usair and one reason why usair employees is so eager to merge with DAL! Who can blame usair employees for wanting to get paid more?! The merger is NOT going to happen. Can't fly the planes without the pilots. It will take too long to train usair piolts to fly the equipment usair wants and therefore not cost effective. Parker....is a Barker, his bark is worse than his bite. He only made the merger annoucement so that his pathetic stock would Take Off! And it did! He should be happy, he can cash out. Please check the website www.sec.gov and check it out. If anyone has stock in LCC, cash out now, while it's at the top.

Delta gets paid more than US Air?? For which employee group? Certainly not flight attendants. You should check out our contract before you make statements. www.afausairways.org, in case you don't know.
