New Guest program starts 4/26/2006
Where you pay segments.
Also starts tomorrow is the vacation high priority code SA1
however there is a kicker ..
Family members can only ride on the senority of the employee only if travelling with employee
Read about it in todays customer briefings

Any word on the new website?

Also, can we use our buddy passes on the "other" carrier yet?

Can we still use the old buddypasses?

i don't want to trade them in yet.

I just gave a buddy pass to a friend last week. I called first and the res agent said they'll still be good until they expire...or I guess until we trade them in.

I believe you can get it refunded and apply the guest program rates to it ..only thing is you lose that pass.

i think the code to ticket is wpq/ecom06 igst10

you cannot reissue but you can refund ....if the trip has not started yet ..i presume

And htat's the way it should be . .is not right for a family member traveling alone to bump an employee.

I disagree, with all the upheaval on the East many people commute, why should a spouse or child be penalized if they want to go see their spouse, dad or mom?

For years on the East-side spouses, kids, parents, retirees and employees all flew on the same seniority and it caused no problems.

If it is not broke, don't fix it.

And on the West, unless they flew with the active employee the priority was lower and it caused no problems.

So you're right...if it's not broke don't fix it.

Well lets see what name is the company?

Lets see which company had more employees and more aircraft?

Who cares what the name of the company is and how many emplyees used to work for which company? It should go by what's fair: give EMPLOYEES, the ones who actually work for the company, the chance to travel first.

Well, if you're going to go in that direction...

Which airline was in bankruptcy? So I guess it was broke after all?

Not broke, just owed more then they had cash on hand, and you can say that about every airline.

And HP certainly did not buy US it was a merger funded by outside investors.

Ah don't worry we will all come out west and bump you guys since we are the senior workforce.

And when you go out east and spouse tries to visit, to complain, lol!
