What's new

New IBT Tactic

Once again you talk of things you have no idea about from your bootleg supplied management copy.

The language was clarified and written after the members voted on the term sheet after they were explained the intent of the final offer.

See I would not expect you to know that since you have no idea about what transpired.

How do you clarify a deleted LETTER OF AGREEMENT in Aug.05
Well tell me the differents from what I has access to and what you where given. If you voted on a contract then the wording does not change.
INLESS YOU HAVE AN AGREEMENT like you do in yours
“This Agreement may not be
amended or supplemented
except by a written letter of
agreement signed by both
the Vice President of Labor
Relations or his designee on
behalf of the Company and
the General Chairman or
his designee on behalf of

once again the trained IBT stooges attempt to make a mountain out of a mole hill.the electronic copy of the IAM contract that the company gave to you has additions and deletions included for labor relations purposes.it shows for labor relation, where language has been modified during past negotitations.
your company provided electronic copy is not accurate nor does it reflect the current copy that all IAM members recieved.
your copy listed on 104 is for reference use only

PLEASE tell me what are these deletions in our copy?? There are some in there after the merger was anounced. long after your vote. You can call it what you want but changes where made after the vote with out your input, as I read it.

These were changes after JAN. 31 2005 NOT PAST NEGOTITIONS

For the tenth time.

The IAM and the Company sat down for months after the final offer was ratified and wrote and clarified the language.

Is that too hard for you to understand?

Detailed notes were kept in negotiations to make sure both sides knew the intent, were you there?

I was.

For the tenth time. Sure it's not the 8th or 9th maybe 11th or 12th...

I was. And you are proud of what you got for your members?

THE CONTRACT was done in JAN 2005 and it took you 8 month to put in your notes?? Is that what you are telling us? Yet you said you had copy of your contract before Sep. 05 HOW can that be? ARE YOU PINOCCHIOING US oh great one?

So tell us when did you vote on your contract before or after you ratified it.

When did the members get to know just what the IAM had taken away from them?

Wrong again.

The IAM and US never reached an agreement on concessions.

On 1/6/05 Judge Mitchell abrogated the IAM/US CBA at the same time the company gave the IAM a final offer that the IAM was obligated to take out to the membership for a vote.

The membership ratified the final offer term sheet. The IAM and the company met over time to clarify and write language, that is a process that does not happen overnight.

The members knew when the term sheet was put out what exactly was being modified there was a member of the Negotiating Committee or a General Chairman at each location when the voting was taking place to answer any questions on the intent.

Seems to me you are the one who has no idea of what you are talking about.

I asked you for dates and you are generalizeing things again. If you can't answer the question as asked get help please so you can answer what I asked.

Those of us involved have always had a copy as it was being finalized.
