try taking a look at the western conference pension plan whish is what we are under. and besides what does it matter - we don't have a pension and I can tell you from the meetings that I sat in on the company is not interested in getting into one - it will be a hard sell for either side.
from my experience having belong to both the Teamster have always been more honest that the IAM was. Niether organization lives in a glass house. I have heard the stories of what is going on right now with the way they treat the members and I know how I have been treated in the past. I have said it before and will say it again - speaking for myself only I would rather be unrepresented than IAM.

4. NEXT THE IBT HAS BROUGHT BACK WORK AFTER BEING VOTED IN AND NOT LET ANY MORE WORK BE FARMED OUT.
AS YOU CAN SEE THE COMPANY WANTS THE IAM CONTRACT DO TO THE THREAT THAT THE IBT WILL TAKE THEM BACK TO COURT AND WIN C-CHECK BACK AS THEY HAVE DONE WITH OTHER WORK THAT WAS FARMED OUT IN THE PAST. READ THIS FROM THE IBT CONTRACT IN PLACE AT THIS TIME.

Upon Board of Directors approval of the return of “C†Checks work to be performed by
employees within the bargaining unit, the Company and the Union shall meet without delay to
agree how many non-A&P positions (other than those identified in Article 11.2) constitutes a
reasonable number to assist in the performance of the “C†check and related work, and on the
pay, work rules and benefits that will enable the Company to hire such reasonable number of
mechanics.
5. THE NEW CONTRACT THE COMPANY WILL DRAG ITS FEET AS LONG AS THEY CAN.
IF THEY SIGN IT THEY KNOW THE IAM MEMBERS WILL JUMP OVER TO IBT AND THEY LOSE IN HOLDING OUR PAY DOWN AND MORE.

How many times are you going to lie about this paragraph in the IAM/US CBA?
You have been told many times this is to clarify language and LOA's it cannot be used to unilaterally change the CBA without the membership voting on any and all changes.
But hey, I would not expect any less from you as you are reaching and trying to distort the truth once again.
