What's new

New IBT Tactic

And to Airwoman,

ACTS is IAM.
I know that.........but it's still non US Airways employees and it's still outsourced.........and probably more to come/go to Air Canada because of their investment. Don't you think??

Since you're addressing me today, can you give some idea how long it'll take for a response from BF??

You will have to contact Bill F in PIT, I can't answer for him.

Go to www.pal1976.org. and e-mail the Pres.

What Does a Plumber Do?

Plumbers install and repair pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Wage Rate

An Apprentice earns less than a Journeyperson, but as your skills and expertise improve, your wage increases
Wages for fully qualified plumbers vary from $25.00-$40.00 per hour.

Time for a new trade. 😉

respond...

proof your orginization fails its members, got caught, and was supervised by the government DOL in elections..

I like this part here... The Department of Labor found that on review of Distcrict 143 "It revealed that six locals failed to hold an election, eleven locals failed to send out an election notice, and 25 locals sent out an inadequate election notice."

Have fun... Hell we know the IBT may be alittle shady but they helped build Vegas....lol.

Here is the worthless number given out by District 143 hotline (1-800-392-6554). Wont tell you anything about what is going on with merger :mf_boff:

The IAM Advantage: Paid Time Off
Beyond the financial benefits of better pay and fringe benefits, almost all IAM contracts provide other benefits, such as paid vacations, paid holidays and extra pay for overtime.

Moreover, IAM workers enjoy signifcantly SP(significantly) more paid leave time than workers without a collective bargaining agreement. For example, the number of paid holidays in small firms is just 7.6 days, in large firms, the average is 9.3 days. But under IAM contracts, the average number of paid holidays is 11.2.
And 5 with the IAM US AIRWAYS it get better and better.
Take control of you future with the IBT

That is because District 143 has nothing to do with the merger, that is primarily a Northwest Airlines District, not US Airways.

District 142 is the district where US AMT and Related are represented.

So is there a hot line number for District 142??? And the one Dell posted still doesn't work.....it's Monday but maybe they're still out golfing. 😉

The most recent update on the website is December 22, 2005 for US Airways. Nothing has happened since then???

The Value of a Supervised Teamster Election

January 18, 2006. The campaign between James Hoffa, Jr. and Tom Leedham and their respective slates is in the early stages, but already the value of having an impartial election monitor and court approved Rules has been demonstrated time and again.

TDU members and other active Teamsters have caught the Hoffa administration, their allies and employers favorable to them in numerous violations of the Rules. Without this monitoring, the incumbent administration would make the rules and run the election. That is what the Hoffa administration wants to impose

Big difference then a union being taken over the Feds and one supervised election.
