It is indeed a trickle of good news from US Airways. It is only a five year deal though. I would have thought that facility leases would be for a longer period. Is this normal? How long was the previous lease for? I don't want to be negative just curious to what your company may be up to in that regard.

It of course brings no comfort to those that will loose jobs. I am sorry to hear of this. Your company seems to have some kind of obsession with letting people go every holiday. Wish these folks all the best.

Anyways, this news is a little glimmer of hope to the 900 or remaining in Maintenance in PIT.

Good luck and good sailing to the more than 12,000 that have lost their jobs and careers here over the past few years.

And to all the nay-sayers, who over the years have opened their pieholes and spewed their negative venom, you can just K.M.A.
