Terry lesperance is the only one you mentioned that I don't agree with, He is tired of the way things have been going by the current lay down stay down guys. I believe he would be a good choice considering the current field. Also Dale Danker running for pres is another guy that thinks more in line with people that have signed cards than everyone else on that list. I encourage all of us like minded mechanics look into those two.

Why so many running for union positions?
My take is that maybe if they get elected they might have the TWU scam a way to avoid them from being laid off within the next two years. And to think they were duped into voting YES to save jobs. What a joke!

Terry Lesperance sucked his way into the local from day one. I also believe he has no A&P license. He would sell you out in a second. He may say he doesn't agree with what is going on but he'll do whatever Little Jimmy tells him to. Do not trust him. To clarify the no A&P remark, people who don't have them many times have no respect for them of what it takes to get them.

Terry seems nice but too nice. He wasn't elected yet has his own personal office in the new Union Hall. When I asked why they built a new hall while 1000 of amts were rif'd to the streets he answered that eboard members desperately needed the new hall. Its funny it was voted down numerous occasions yet when most hit the street it magically got built without a vote..overriding all previous votes. Kinda too shady for me.

Why so many? You are joking right? We all know it's all about the over paid positions as well as they will not take a hit when the members take a hit.

Agreed, weed out the NON A&Ps as not eligible. Then weed out team TWU type sellouts. Then hope you have someone left.
Good Luck Tulsa!

Please no more FSC presidents at the largest maintenance local.

Once AMFA gets in, I'm sure the quality of people to vote for will get better.

Be careful with the NON A&P's. We have skilled guys with no tickets that work in the shops. They are Aircraft Technicians. Welders is one that comes to mind.
Play nice and do not try to alienate anyone in the M&R group.

Not going to argue with ya we all have choices to make and the field is slim so it's going to come down to the lesser of two evils. But Terry does have an A&P, 100% sure about that

How many times are we going to have this same debate? Neither the problem nor the solution will come from Local 514 Officer elections. Just as with the Tulsa Management positions, the Local 514 Union Officer positions have become an undesirable thing to do step into. Most everyone on the nomination list is either the lazy don't want work dead wood type, or in it for the Officer pay. There is no solution within this election and never will be. Keep your focus on real change and stop grasping for inadequate straws.

The intention was not to alienate anyone in M&R. A&P mechanics need to be represented by A&P mechanics. That is why I am supporting AMFA.
