Does anyone have a current list of destinations that are served by UA and UAX from Los Angeles?

Wow, thanks for the breakdown.

Do all those destinations have non-stop service? I have not checked them all, but I can't find a non-stop flight between LAX and CDG; one through flight is listed with a stop and a plane change at ORD.

That would be a through flight...same flight number although the equipment change is common...

Thanks.

I have known what a through flight was since before you were born. Originally, the term referred to flights that stopped en route but where pax did not have to change planes. For better or worse, in more recent times airlines have loosened the definition of that term.

Besides, the OP question concerns non-stop destinations from LAX, not through flights or connections.

Here is a complete and accurate list of non-stop flights on United Airlines from Los Angeles: FareCompare.com

Total International: 13

And to say, they beat out Southwest on these two routes where they competed.

Just a thought.....what are the chances of UA using LAX as a hub for South America? Nearly all the South America flying is from the East and southeast part of the country. Looks like there would be a market for one airline to fly from the west coast.

LAX is too far west. The West Coast of South America is aligned with the east coast. CO has IAH which can do the feed from the west in all one direction. I believe Rio is 2 time zones ahead of New York.

Rio is indeed 2 hours ahead of Eastern Time. Besides that, there is already a decent amount of service on decent airlines from LAX to decent hubs in the region: PTY, LIM, SCL, BOG. Korean is going to re-start LAX-GIG. Varig and JAL formerly served the route.
