Northwest Airlines named Neal Cohen financial chief after Bernard L. Han resigned from the position Tuesday. The company did not explain Han's departure. Cohen worked for Northwest for nine years in its finance and marketing departments. He helped guide US Airways through its first bankruptcy filing but left the carrier in 2004.
