I think you will find that they are universally attributed to James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. I have never heard of the Adams and Jefferson as the authors of any of them.

Not true! Why do you think we have 3 branches of Federal Government?Do you think they pulled that number out of thin air?You ever heard of the Father,Son,Holy Spirit?
Why do you think we have 12 people on a jury trial [and not 11 or 13]?Where do you think they got the number 12 from? You ever heard of the 12 tribes of Israel or the 12 disciples of Christ?

It is clear that our founding fathers used Judeau-Christian principles to form our government and for the building blocks of our legal system.

There is no such phrase "seperation of church and state" in the U.S. Constitution. It clearly states that the Congress shall not establish a religion.

goingboeing,

Your right about the 12 tribes of Israel, one(or more) I believe is still considered "lost".

Coincidently, I've been doing a lot of research(just the last few days actually). Seems that archeologists/ancient historians have narrowed it down to the fact that NOAH's grandson "Tiras"(both Jews by the way) is strongly considered to be the decendant of a particuliar tribe of Jews(there's that word again), who were very nautical, and had a strong interest in the BERING STRAIGHT area.

Seems this "lost" tribe set up shop here in the America's, perhaps around 600 "BC"(BEFORE CHRIST), which is also around the time that ABRAHAM(another Jew) was a "rookie in training"

Anyway, fast forward about 2600 years, and it seems there are a "ton" of these "lost" tribe decendants living in Oklahoma.

Yes, I'll grant you that a number of the people have made the conversion. I mean how could you blame them. They were given a "offer" that Don Corleone could'nt refuse.(A new Testament in one hand, and a *ucking GUN, in the other)

So whats the bottom line ??

The bottom line is that "the new kids on the block" CHRISTIANS, will just HAVE to get over the fact that there are OTHER people here in the USA,( with a TON of historical SENIORITY), that could'nt care less about Christmas, or AA's stupid "jingles"

NH/BB's

ps.
Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse and Geronimo had one thing in common.
THEY WERE "RIGHT" !!!!!!!!!!

Having visited some of the cliff dwellings in Arizona I do know that Jewish people have been in the United States for a LONG time.
I'm a christian who views Israel as my family history because I was adopted into the family by JESUS.[Tribe of Judah, house of David]
I see christianity as a continuance of Israel through JESUS CHRIST and have the upmost respect for my Jewish friends and also their celebration of Hanukkah[Festival of Light] which is presently being remembered.
I do understand that there are lots of people who do not care about Christmas and that is fine with me but christians should not be discriminated against just because we believe that JESUS is the Son of GOD.

Look people, if you're not a Southern Baptist, you're going to burn in Hell! 😱ff: 😱ff: 😱ff: :bleh: :bleh: 🙄 🙄

I would recommend the Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette Arkansas for info on this topic.Dr. Arnold Murray along with other scholars have done video documentaries about the writings[drawings and carvings] found in dwellings throught the southwestern U.S.[Texas-New Mexico-Arizona] Some of these dwellings have the Hebrew name for GOD carved into the rocks and the carvings have been there for a long time.
Most American Jewish Historical Socities will only account for about 350 years of U.S history but the rocks in the southwestern U.S tell another story.

goingboeing,
Seriously, Great research !!

For anyone else out there, who might not be sure what goingboeing, and "your's truly", are refereing to,
NOW you can see why the American Indians wern't "buying" the christian "sales pitch" that Spain, France, England, and the Dutch were "selling"

They knew about the Creator when Father Abraham was in "high school" !!!

NH/BB's

so the american indians are actually jews? thats funny because i learned in history that they traveled to the americas via the bering strait before the end of the last ice age when there was a land bridge and i believe they are decendents of nomadic asian peoples not middle eastern. in fact if youve ever seen natives of mongolia they have a striking resemblence to many native american tribes. i mean im open to new ideas and all but this almost sounds like the teachings of another self proclaimed prophet named JOSEPH SMITH !

The Shepherd's Chapel is a church out of Gravette, Arkansas run by a man named Arnold Murray. Mr. Murray has a television and radio outreach where he spreads his particular doctrines. Many of these doctrines of his are definitely not biblical. The Shepherd's Chapel is, at the very least, a controversial church with many unorthodox doctrines. The following list of teachings from the Shepherd's Chapel is derived from scouring the Internet, chat rooms, bulletin boards, asking the followers of Arnold Murray, and looking at the Shepherd's Chapel web site.

Denies the Trinity and teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are really three offices held by the one God.
Denies the existence of eternal Hell.
Denies the doctrine of the rapture.
Denies physical resurrection of believers. We will be raised spiritually.
Teaches annihilationism: non-existence after death for sinners.
Teaches that certain Old Testament kosher laws regarding meat should be followed.
Teaches Serpent Seed doctrine: Eve had literal sexual relations with the serpent.
The offspring of Eve's impregnation resulted in Cain, Satan's offspring.
The Kenites are the tares of the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matt. 13.
Satan's fallen angels impregnated women around the time of Noah.
Interracial marriage is wrong.
Being born again is to enter into this body from a spiritual body of another age.
America and Britain are the lost tribes of Israel.
People were alive in a pre-existence.
There was an earth age prior to Adam where a race of people lived.
The Rapture is a false doctrine.

The historic Christian faith is under attack from this mans pulpit, as he comes off authoritative and sometimes arrogant, belittling those who do not agree with his views as they are identified as unspiritual and Kenites. In his teaching there is promotion of bias against the Jews, blacks and all non Anglo-Saxon people. I realize these are strong words but one needs to listen to his attitude and certainly pay attention to his doctrine and words.

As the bible says.........Beware the teachings of false prophets.

Merry Christmas to all.....

this Arnold Murray character would'nt happen to be one of those snake handlers who thinks he can drink battery acid and have no harm come too him? This World is full of self proclaimed prophets of GOD!......................Beware Indeed.

Since the subject has somehow turned to the history of Jewish people in the U.S., the most fascinating fact I have happened across in regard to this subject is an incredible irony that occurred more than 500 years ago. Anyone who is functionally literate in the subject of history will associate the year 1492 with the year that Christopher Columbus became the first European to discover North America. In the same year, Jews in Spain who refused to convert to the Catholic church were expelled from Spain by edict of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella -- the same rulers who funded the 1492 voyage of Columbus.

Centuries later, in our time, a Jewish rabbi in the U.S. was heard to say that had it not been for the U.S. and Canada, there probably would not be a Jew alive in the world today. Hence the amazing irony: little did Ferdinand and Isabella know that while they were expelling Jews from their country, they were at the same time underwriting a voyage that would lead to the discovery and ultimately the establishment of a land that would become the one place in the world (until Israel was reborn as a nation in 1948) where Jews could live without fear of the next pogrom or Holocaust.

It is very obvious this person has an AGENDA and is willing to go to any extreme to distort the truth about Dr.Murray and his teachings. This is not the proper forum for providing a rebuttal to all the incorrect statements you made and I will spare the readers.
Anyone who is interested in Dr.Murray's real views about the bible can find it on his website www.shepherdschapel.com and click on Answer to Critics.

And as in my original answer to wretched wrench Dr.Murray has done some good teaching on petraglyphs in the southwestern U.S.

thats very interesting Tango-Bravo, we learn something new every day! but it is now debatable wheter are not Christopher Columbus was actually the first European to visit the New World, seems recent discoveries may have the Scandinavians (Vikings) as the first Europeans to reach our shores some 500 years before Spain. .........Interesting little tidbit!

No agenda. I bet goingboeing is an Art Bell fan too.
Overall, Arnold Murray has enough false teaching that could only be comparable to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but he certainly is not in the category of other notables in the sphere of the Church. He may mean well but he has more wrong teaching than right because the basis for many of his views are wrong. His program and literature should be avoided. His followers may love him, but they need to look at other Bible teachers to hear a balanced and correct view before they defend his teachings so passionately. I'm afraid they won't.
