Other questions. With AA over three times the size of US, wouldn't it make more sense to train them and bring them over to AA's certificate than vice versa? I know the FAs and other unions have bridge agreements, but just when will these "contracts" come into effect?

Your kidding me right? It's posts like this that give US people a bad name. It was foolish enough to use that call sign for an airline with no logical connection to the sign. I can't imagine the new AA giving up a call sign that is an exact match to the airline name for Cactus....
