I got this email yesterday at work and I couldnt believe it. Could NorthWest know whats sup with US Air? Did anyone hear about this? If so, can you provide some more feed back. I am getting concern that US Air will not make it. And maybe they shouldnt. Maybe they should just close all doors and put all employee's out of their misery.

Or could it be a stunt to get people talking about it?

My guess is that NW is in violation of contractual obligations by doing this. They may even be in contempt of court.

Maybe USAirways should waste some more attorney's fees and file an injunction. After all the attroneys will the first in line for their share if they liqudate.

The attorneys are gonna reap the dough in this baby.
This judge is allowing all the cash to be sucked up by Mgmt so in the end, the attorneys are the only ones who will see any dough.
When will Congress wake up to this and change the law?

With 90% of members of congress being lawyers, I suspect that they will never change the law, except to make things even more lucrative for attorneys.

One way to improve this country would be a Consitutional amendment to forbid anyone with a law degree to hold elective office. Without the fox guarding the henhouse, maybe the chicken farm would work a bit better.
