What's new

NW Pilots vote YES.

Ya know....... I heard this AA+NW=AANWA stuff for over 6 years. It's like....

And then..... ?

Then I hear the DL and NW stuff....

Now we're back at AA and NW?

B) Won't believe it until I see it.
As someone else said on another thread, You are SO off my Christmas card list. The idea! Spoiling some perfectly good wild-a** speculation and rumor with logic.

If you keep posting sensible things like this, we may have to have you sent to the cornfield for awhile. You have been warned!

and........................................

Now, how many are on the recall list & furloughed from TWA?.............?

Each and every former TWA FA; about 3,000 or so. Not a desirable outcome.
so it's like...OK are we doing this in company senority order? TWA formed in 1925 would be more senior than NW.... formed in 1926........

😀

Seriously, though, here's how it plays out:

AA makes an offer to buy selected assets and makes offers of employment to NW employees, telling the affected NW employees to work out seniority integration with AA's unions.

The APFA staples (with some limited protection for existing NW hubs), the scab mechanics are kicked to the curb (AA already has plenty of mechanics inhouse and on furlough) and the pilots get a limited integration (not as bad as the APFA staple).
