I wasn't aware the Tea Party has anything to do with the GOP. You can provide sourcing?
How many members of congress that ran on the tea party platform are in any party other than the republican?

You are spinning the narrative. You haven't answered the question.

I wasn't aware the Tea Party has anything to do with the GOP. You can provide sourcing?

Fact is Tea Party has absolutely nothing to do with the GOP.

So that list of Tea Party Caucus members who are all in the Republican caucus And members of the GOP, have nothing to do with the GOP?

Similar to men being males and women being females...tea partyists are republicans.

Tech, hate to spoil it for you but Tea Party is about people from across the board who are dissatisfied with the way government is run.

By your chart then Obama can count on at least 5% of the tea party vote in November. 😛

Are you tired of Obama wasting our money on his green agenda.

According to Robert Bryce of the Wall Street Journal:

Over the past two decades, the federal government has prosecuted hundreds of cases against oil and gas producers and electricity producers for violating some of America’s oldest wildlife-protection laws: the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and Eagle Protection Act.

But the Obama administration—like the Bush administration before it—has never prosecuted the wind industry despite myriad examples of widespread, unpermitted bird kills by turbines. A violation of either law can result in a fine of up to $250,000 and imprisonment for two years…

Last June, the Los Angeles Times reported that about 70 golden eagles are being killed per year by the wind turbines at Altamont Pass, about 20 miles east of Oakland, Calif. A 2008 study funded by the Alameda County Community Development Agency estimated that about 2,400 raptors, including burrowing owls, American kestrels, and red-tailed hawks—as well as about 7,500 other birds, nearly all of which are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act—are being killed every year by the turbines at Altamont.

…Bats are getting whacked, too. The Pennsylvania Game Commission estimates that wind turbines killed more than 10,000 bats in the state in 2010.

The Big Government Republicans, (think Santorum, Romney and Gingrich) loathe the Tea Party and frankly want nothing to do with them except for their votes.

Anyone who thinks Tea Party equals Republican clearly isn't paying attention.

Scratch the surface of a traditional Republican and they will blame the Tea Party for failing to capture the Senate in 2010. O'Donnell in DE and Engle in NV have become the poster children of the Anti Tea Party sentiments of old line Republicans. There are numerous articles on this subject some are reportage and others Op-Ed pieces. They can be found with a quick search on line. I've read about ten so far and there are a whole lot more.

I understand what you are saying, however they have to choose a party to get elected.

Which party did the so-called tea party candidates run in? Which party do they now reside in the Congress?
