BS, it;s the realization that at one point you are statistically going to need health care which you cannot afford. It's the realization that having the costs spread out over a vast pool of people lowers that cost and allows everyone to get the health care that they need without suffering financial ruin. Not sure what ACA has to do with your comments above seeing that ACA is not single payer.
Until we go single payer and get the insurance companies out of the health care business we will be stuck with the health care system we now.
