Ok we're half way through Oct. and no big announcement. Will it be told during 3rd Quarter results or is this just someones wishful thinking? Oh yea Delta is back in the merger hunt, except this time they will be doing the buying. See Here.

U Gotta wait until after the 15th of next month.

no upgrading with mesa it get down graded even worse than what it is now 😛

It was a joke robbedagain, the punchline being that US Airways is even worse than Mesa. It's equally as embarrassing to work here as it would be at Mesa. When my friends and I are asked we work for "oh, a charter airline, you haven't heard of it."

Actually, I heard someone call US Airways "Mesa Grande" the other day, I think it's a pretty fitting description.

I read in the Continental Magazine today that the average F/A at Continental has 13 years. That is amazingly low in my opinion for an airline like Continental. US East is much higher than that, right? Does anyone know?

Perhaps CO has been lucky because most of their F/A's don't remember the Lorenzo days? They are not jaded? I'm not sure, but they are doing something right over there. And, as jaded as AA flight attendants are, and they do have some problems over there, their customer service inflight is excellent.

US cannot continue to treat its customers and employees like it does and survive.

I do know that the average age of a US F/A is something like 44, the youngest is 28.

First hire is 1957, last active hire is 2000. If I had to guess on average seniority, it seems like a huge portion of the list was hired in or just before 1989. Just about everyone has 20 years, if you only have one decade you may as well be on your first day of stewardess school in the eyes of your co-workers.

Continental is a fabulous airline, I've flown them a lot and thier crews especially are professional, friendly, and consistent. If I had to pick a network carrier that "gets it", that would be it.

US1YFARE...CO Gets my revenue dollars...US *still* gets my nonrevenue dollars...

I agree w/ you EMBFA CO does "get it!"

as for Mesa Grande...I got an idea mmhmm

Here it is! PIT gets TWO more flights a day!

Where do you think they will fly to?

Does anyone know how many flights per day they now operate from PIT?
