I am just curious, are any of you watching what is happening in Ohio?

Seems like Ohio is becoming the hub of low cost aerospace employees.

I did a search on Indeed  and Monster and what I found were jobs between 15 and 27 an hour (for ones that would actually post what they pay).

...and Muzak filled the air, from Seneca to Cuyahoga Falls...

What does this have to do with American Airlines?
I swear some of you are so dumb you can't see five feet in front of your face.

One word.... TImco.

Ohio is obviously trying to secure outsourced work from the airlines. Timco is just one of many. You should keep this in mind when it comes time to vote for your UNION. TWU has only lowered pay, benefits, and given away jobs.

Ohio is ramping up to take this work on in a big way, you better pay attention.

A ramper supporting AMFA, you are too stupid to realize Mechanics who are AMFA Supporters dont like the ramp nor do they have a need for them.

You are truly the stupid poster on board.

First off, who are you to speak for the mechanics?

Second off, what difference does it make who the mechanics don't like anyway? I am pretty sure they have no interest in loading bags or cargo. Apparently you have some motive in keeping them under the same umbrella as Fleet even though they obviously don't want to be.

Third, I am not a ramper, I work in IT. Remember?

I suppose you think I am being disloyal to my work group.  All I can say is I saw very little loyalty from my coworkers who could care less we had to work under a horrible contract, all they wanted was a buyout. Where was the loyalty when the TWU told (lied) TULE they were going to keep 60 provided the contract was signed. Anybody in that 60 could hardly wait to throw the rest under the bus.

To me this is a bigger issue than Fleet and Mechanics. This is about a sellout UNION and a buyout company that have conspired against the workforce of American Airlines for years, all while taking a portion of their check.

700 is used to the IAM way of telling us what we like and don't like and what is best for us,.As long as it's good for the IAM.

Uh, OK, but how is this about American? Are they Timco's only customer, or the only airline outsourcing maintenance work?

With AAR trying to expand in Oklahoma, and the new provider at MCI, is it really just Ohio, or is it just a delayed reaction to try and replace jobs lost in the manufacturing sector?

It's not the location that matters it's the trend.

By the way you stated you do not usually agree with me. I told you I find that odd because I agree with you 90 percent of the time. You never commented.

Lot of solid non union top paying jobs in Ohio. Dayton usually is good, Cincy too.

Don't take it too personally. There are lots of people I don't agree here on a regular basis.

<extreme sardonicism not targeted at LLLLL>
I just don't find it necessary to write 20 page theses about why they're clearly less informed than I am.

One line usually works in my case, if I can't keep it to one word.
