That is his job to get the workers to work for less!!!! Show me the same thing with the union leaders who cashed out at our expense doing the same thing...

You are quite right in placing some blame on the Judas Quisling Little.

In placing the blame where due, let's not forget that the Board of Directors is the power behind the throne. Arpey is just their figurehead.

Aw, now you're applying logic and truth.... Arpey's to blame because nobody wants to admit that their unions signed off on a bad deal, and that includes the innane PUP logic that made it next to impossible for management -not- to get payouts three years in a row once UA, DL, and NW declared bankruptcy (which most sane people who could read a financial statement knew would happen).

And just wait another nine days....

Code:
Symbol 2005	20-Dec 3-year Rank	Exit Bankruptcy
CAL 13.8	23.76	173%	1
RJET	13.5	20.11	149%	-
SKYW	20.1	26.99	134%	-
AMR 11.7	15.37	132%	2
UAUA	43.3	35.54 82%	- 25-Jan-06
LUV 16.3	12.84 79%	3
ALK 33.7	26.33 78%	4
LCC 21.1	15.50 74%	- 27-Sep-05
DAL 22.8	14.38 63%	- 26-Apr-07
NWA 24.1	14.97 62%	- 18-May-07
FRNT	11.2 5.75 51%	5
MESA 8.0 3.50 44%	-
JBLU	15.6 6.33 41%	6
XJT 13.0 2.76 21%	-

The only three airlines who have had a higher three year shareholder return are CAL, RJET (Republic/ChickenTaco), and Skywest. AMR and SKYW could swap places, but since SKYW isn't part of the peer group, it really doesn't matter.

Also interesting to note that all of the other airlines shown have had a negative return for shareholders based on stock price...

The way your question is worded implies the TWU and AMR are two separate entities. We've all seen much evidence to the contrary.
