Trying to copy Herb's schtick isn't working. Herb respected his employees and treated them accordingly by sharing the company's successes with them. Parker and company so far have shown their ability to extract wealth and put it in their pockets while continuing to alienate their employees. He never completed the merger between HP/US. It was only because of the latest merger he was able to force the other unions to the table.
 
We would have been better off taking our lumps in BK with AMR, come out profiting through lower oil prices, buying US, and kicking Dougie to the curb. Unions at AA were to focused on getting even with Horton we slit our own throats jumping in to bed with Parker. Looks like Parker gave us the trick and he got all the treats.
 
Maybe next year he should dress up as Icahn or Lorenzo

I wish they would try to be like SWA for mechanic compensation.
