I'm new here, it seem's most of you have a little inside info. and insight as to how things will unfold, so if you can, tell me where EAGLE comes into play at these stations after being divested, or sold?
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Sure, be glad to.
AA can put AE into any station they wish, while pulling AA out.
But of course, at a station like JFK(for example), with ALL those Wonderful Wide Body a/c flying to "far away" places, It's virtually Impossible to do that.
Then there is the Issue of "Station protected full time "AA" employees, that "usually" keep AA from swapping to A/E, however I personally witnessed PIT flying all Rj's, but still had 1-2 station protected ol' timers there, working in the "bag room", shortly after AA resumed S-80 fling to DFW.
Then there is the Issue of a station of NON.."SP" AAers(99% of the time a small..to..small-medium sized station).
Those stations can "outsource" the AA workers...whether they go ALL A/E or a mix of Mainline+A/E, depending the number of annual AA mainline(only) flights.
Then there's the station that may still have ALL Mainline(usually 3/4 flights a day to DFW), have NO protected guys, PDX..perfect example, but fall Below the Contract "staffing levels" that require AA to staff with TWU guys.
Finally(think ORF) there are stations..NOT on the "SP" list, who have NEVER had a TWU person in it, and continue on with business as usual.
(I think I've covered most of it for you)
PS, there have been a few Examples of MALFESANCE(think ALB/SYR/ROC/BUF) where AA pulled all main line out(for A/E)....the station was "SP-ed", there were guys up there WITH "SP", who SOMEHOW went SILENTLY AWAY to retireement, or

OTHER STATIONS

(think some kind of "PAYOLA")
Also, back in the late 90's, AA re-opened MDW, without TWU, and......SURPRISE, NO ONE said a PEEP(about re-staffing of AA/TWU)
A/E IS TWU in ORD, so don't confuse the issue, but by the contract ORD/MDW are a "one station" AA Mainline rule policy.
One station rule, is a story for another day.
