When I checked a few days ago, it appeared that there were going to be 18 - 20 nonstops from SAT - DFW all on Super 80's this winter. That doesn't exactly sound like a station that will be going to AE, Wing! At least, do a little research before spouting off rumors.
AUS has the same number (if not more flights to DFW) as SAT. Plus, there are more flights to ORD (5-6) as well as 3x SJC and 3x LAX service. MIA service is supposed to launch this fall (with a 738). We have lost RDU, SNA, SEA and DAL service. The loss of SEA hurts because of AA's continued cutbacks on the West Coast, it made connecting onto Alaska really easy.
