Can anyone point me to a site (I'm locked out of the ALPA U board due to employment w/ another ALPA carrier) where I can get the current incarnation of the pilot contract/LOAs (specifically East but wouldn't mind having West as well)?

Thanks

Swaayze,

If you still have the contract that was in effect when you were active with US, it is probably the same. The difference is the modifications made by the various LOA's agreed to.

I don't know of any other site that will have those, unfortunately. Possibly you can find someone with access that can download them for you.

Yes I have the old one but lost track of all the changes during the various give-backs. Thanks anyway.

BTW, can anyone forward me a copy of the email that was sent to the furloughed pilots yesterday? I know they have my email address (and I just sent it in again to the communications specialist) but I did not receive it and my previous attempts to contact the furlough administrator and J4J Coordinator have also gone unanswered. It's like pulling teeth to stay updated around here!

Swaayze,

Hopefully, careerfurloughee answered your questions. I'll add one thing since I've now seen the email you referenced.

"Nearly 200 pilots will retire from June to December of 2006, followed by an additional 239 in 2007."

I'm not sure where they get those numbers - hopefully they have access to the number of pilots that intend to retire early, or maybe they're counting those on the CEL. What I show is:

102 reaching age 60 between 7/1/06 and 12/31/06. Of these, 8 are furloughed/MDA/J4J (some may be recalled before having to retire), and 21 are out on disability. That leaves 73 who will definitely be retiring from active positions (and thus creating vacancies) in the remainder of 2006 (plus maybe 1 or 2 recalled pilots).

225 reach age 60 in 2007. Of these, 15 are currently furloughed/MDA/J4J, and 42 are out on disability.

Got it careerfurloughee, thank you.

And thank you BB for the clarifications.
