Yesterday was the first day of the cutover in PIT to all flights being worked by mainline employees .It was a complete disaster , agents had to work planes that they never saw before and the staffing was so understaffed that everyone was overwhelmed. Just another example of the competency of the new management team , they don't have a clue.

Considering Mainline might have never seen a puddle jumper like a B1900D :)

Give me 5 of the DSH-8 or the B-1900 to a fully loaded 320 anytime. One bin, few bags, and little to service. Just watch the props and careful as the pushback gets a little squirrelly with the short wheel base versus the mainline jets.

I'm sure it won't take PIT ramp long to figure how to work them.

So advises Jester.

What pushback? Props are turning out on their own in PIT now.

looks like the circle is now complete,

guessing the average seniority in pit is 30 plus years those guys started on the Props and will likely end there career working them

I say bring back the Convair LOL :)
