Not sure about an apology or a drive home but I certainly would not assault someone. Then again anyone who gets together to make out with people they do not know has it coming to them. Seems foolish on the 'chicks' part to get into a car with a fly boy and not expect that reaction. Equally stupid for your brother to pick up a person he does not know. Well you seemed to indicate that a new sign would not work. I just pointed out that signs do work because we now have male/female signs for bathrooms and they seem to work for the most part. Signs or not, the transgender folks still exist. They still use restrooms. Odds are you may have been in a restroom with one.

So lets install Transgender bathrooms, with signs of a man wearing a dress. That way, all who enter, have something in common and can sit on the crapper, discussing which gender altereing surgeries they recently underwent !

Trees don't need God they just need water, soil, fertilizer and sunlight and maybe a bee to help him make a sapling.

Has nothing to do with admitting to anything. It has to do with the fact that conservatives use the tired old 'family values' and yet when their own take the family values idea and throw it out the window conservatives do not seem to care so much. Case in point would be Gingrich and to a lesser degree, Sanford. Most folks would call that hypocritical. Dems as a rule, do not run on family values.

How does the party of 'family values' support a man who cheated on his wife, used public funds to do it, lied to the the people about it, lied to his wife about it, lied to his 4 kids about it, got divorced from his wife (I thought two parent families were better for children?)?

Republicans are such a forgiving bunch .... for their own. Lets see if the GOP gets behind Sanford or if they let him slog it out on his own. I would think it would be hard for the republicans to sway women with a man like Sanford.

I was raised in a household with a strong mother. Her and my dad were seen as equals. My sister is a strong woman. She is self a employed realtor, the top seller in her area for years. My wife is a strong woman.

I think your POV is quite antiquated and puts your daughters (if you have any) at a disadvantage in the work world. I saw an interview with the COO of facebook. She made some interesting comments. She said that the number of female execs has remained fairly flat at 14% for over a decade. She said that when a girl is strong she is considered bossy but that the same standard does not apply to boys.

We no longer life in a single working parent world. Both must work. I think your position puts women at a severe disadvantage in the work force.

I think the best family environment is one where both parents are seen as equals. Where a strong woman is not seen as a b1tch or bossy. Where a man who is sensitive is not seen as weak.

All this avoids the issue that you brought up a few posts ago regarding family values. How does a party or you previous post for that matter square with S.C. renominating a man who cheated on his wife and kids, lied to the public about it and stole public funds to do it all. And now he is campaigning with the woman who he cheated with at his side. Traditional conservative values?

I work in an industry where there is one Captain, not two. I grew up in a household where the man is the head of the household. In my house, I'm the head of the family and my wife knew that going into our marriage because it was a part of our vows. Going on a quarter century.

It works so I don't see the need for change or leaning forward.

I may be mistaken you you did imply that traditional values were typically conservative values. Clinton was not a conservative candidate. Sanford and Gingrich were as I recall.
