So I wonder, are they going to have 2 training facilities? CLT PHX? Also when you go through recurrent I think they should make you do a little more physically than we do on the east side.. I think they should make you do some of the physical things that they make you do at AWA when you are being hired... such as push a stocked cart up a ramp, run across a room several times, lift a packed back and throw it to shelves at a different elevation, at your knees waist and shoulder. We should make sure everyone can lift bags into the overhead, and be physically fit enough to do it, heck i've seen girls that cant even wear heels they say their back hurts so bad, just think it should be a little more physically challenging than what it is....

Sky high states: Lift bags? The health of my BACK is too important to me. Assist, ok. But LIFT, nope.

f/a's are not supposed to lift bags in the first place.

I would rather see more drills on evacuations than if I can lift and toss something stupid.

Sorry Etops, thats not true...at least not under the AWA policy...they are to "assist". And we all know that AWA policy is slowly becoming US Airways policy.

Oh I can visualize an airline employee obstacle course. Or even better, an airline employee boot camp. That could make for a really good comedy!

I think we need to add F/C wine tastings (although I like that Coach vintage from Chile too) and then practice all those bs announcements. The we could do live demos and audition for who has the most dramatic safety demo

Mixed feelings and nobody really understood the point - the point being to get rid of the ones that complain about doing there job b/c their feet hurt or their back hurts etc., if we had to pass a physical agility test or even strap in a mock jumpseat every year then we would get rid of alot of people that cant perform the duties...I personally dont want to fly with someone that is bit+++ng the whole trip about their back etc when they are 70 and should be retired, anyway more for emergency purposes than anything if you cant push a cart or lift a bag than you sure cant lift a window exit and toss it!! Just my opinion.

sky high states: And personally, I dont to fly with someone who bitches about the more senior f/A's. Number one, that's age discrimination and number two, YOU TOO will develop aches and pains as YOU age.

LOL - Its not about senior people - its about people that whine about doing their job, if you ache quit b/c i don't want to hear you cant push a cart, didnt mean it as a discrimaination comment but i see you took offense! If i am seventy i will not be working if i hurt and act like a frigid biaattchh b/c i cant perform my duties. Most of my cosest friends have 15+ years and alot 25+ but they don't biaaattcchhh ... HO HO HO Merry X-MAS!!!!!

The Electroshock Therapy has eliminated all my Recurrent Thoughts.

We did that at initial Bus training in PIT. Well, at least the ones not on duty.

That’s the idea of going out the exit window in a certain amount of time.
