"Sounds to me like ALPA should not be representing both US Airways mainline pilots and PSA pilots. ALPA cannot act in the best interest of both groups. This is a MAJOR conflict of interest within ALPA. One list would solve that conflict of interest."

US Airways mainline pilots are represented (not) by mainline MEC. PSA pilots are represented by their MEC. Each MEC looks out for the interest of that specific group. ALPA national doesn't have anything to do with MEC's.
"ALPA national doesn't have anything to do with MEC's."

You must be joking. ALPA has, does, and will interfere as necessary in any MEC, but especially the smaller, less financially important pilot group MECs, to get the result it wants. I have seen it first hand. If an MEC does not follow the gameplan that ALPA National wants, the institution will scam, corrupt, cheat and steal to ensure their gameplan will prevail. It is an organization that has not just gone off the rails, it has been years since it was anywhere near the rails. It's all about the money. Dues income is king, and whatever must be done to protect the most important revenue stream will be done. That is why ALPA will ultimately collapse under the weight of it's own National Officers greed and arrogance.

Interesting to note, that of the airlines making profits, how many are ALPA properties? Now, how many of the Airlines on the brink are ALPA properties? Yet they are still playing the game of protecting the revenue stream instead of reacting to the current state of the airline business! Greed + Arrogance = Morons.

As to the topic of the CRJ 701.

Why not put them at Allegheny? It has a vacant certificate with no contract attached. If PSA will not let them on at 100%, the APL will get 100% on the Allegheny Certificate.
