RALLY! IN PHOENIX!

Maybe we could have one in CLT, LAS and PHL on the same day and at the same time. That would get some attention and show we are united together from coast to coast.

Notwithstanding this post which I'm not sure how to take, I'm giving you the most
improved poster award for Jan 08. This award is given to the poster who has
demonstrated a sincere desire to change. Lately you've added valuable insight
to our dialogue. Further you have taken on a most agreeable tone toward all.
Thank You and Congratulations. The Bagfather:Chairperson US Aviation Message
Board: Awards Div. [See Richard for your nice gift]

Father,
I agree. Sounds a lot like an informational picket, with a twist....

Handbills. Handbills and newsletters build unity and rankle management. Handbills can express strong opinions, including accusations of mismanagement and strong-arm tactics.7 The employer may not station managers or supervisors in close proximity in order to surveil the activity.8

Unless it disrupts operations, an employer must allow handbilling before and after work and during breaks on outside areas such as parking lots, walkways, and steps.9 The employer must also permit handbilling in inside non-work or mixed-use areas such as cafeterias and smoking rooms.10 Management may not confiscate handbills placed on lunch tables prior to employees taking their seats.11

At or away from the workplace, workers can handbill customers, the public, and other employees with appeals for support. If the union handbills at the location of another employer, it must avoid picketing or calls for a sympathy strike. It can display a stationary banner.

Now that you’ve become more pro action I also like your tone …

I think plans are in the works for a rally in PHL on feb 5th and I don’t think it will be too long before CLT gets fired up from what I hear .

We need to get LAS rolling as well !

Hey field stations , your more than welcome to have smaller rallies , does PIT have any life in it ? And what about PVD ?

Handbills , I like that idea alot , action action action , let’s hit them everywhere at once !

Bottom line is this. Regardless of what Tim and other's tell you, it is a long time waiting going through the channels. Right now people are blinded by hatred and their own ambitions to join the 100K club that they are not telling the whole story.

Sometimes a union can pull together without the union and get solid results a lot faster! This approach is legal, and does more to fire up management than changing union leadership. You can change union leaders like you change underwear, but that only drags out the process. Act now and in a positive manner and see how quickly results are achieved.

Spoken like someone trying to save their 100k club membership. Are you scared?

Not at all! Feel very secure!

Make that feel more than very secure!!!!!!!!!
Of course you do. That is why Fleet Service is fed up with all of the 100k club. They look out for themselves first, the company second, and Fleet Service third. No wonder all of the AGC's at US are hated. Along with the NC, nothing but contempt for them. We will see though.

exactly, Goldenram and the other $100,000 club members and wannabe's have been 'useless'. It's very important to get the NEW DIRECTIONS TEAM in and clean out all the deadwood that has cushioned both management groups at US AIRWAYS and UNITED.

Looking at the NEW DIRECTION SLATE it looks like the Local Charman's conference. Folks who are locally elected as opposed to those who are appointed by Canale.

The mission statement speaks volumes and can be viewed here. Copy it, post it, distribute it everywhere. I can assure you that the 6,000 141 members in ORD will Bit## Slap Canale's crew bigtime and are counting on PHL, CLT, PHX, LAS to join in on it. DEN, JFK, HNL also. KA, and RE will be powerless and will experience 'great pain' with the ORD nominations.

Remember, the bigger the turnout, the louder the voice that 141 members are fed up with the 'status quo' lack of representation.

As for the subject of other stations rallying , this video symbolizes how I feel about it all to a T ….

FINISH THE FIGHT !!!!!!!! (EDIT: i should point out it's a halo video as i happen to be fond of them because i'm a nerd )

GET UP , STAND UP , RISE UP!!!!!

 Yeah baby yeah!

It's West' time to give a try! Three rallies, at least four to go. The company wants us to give them a break during SUPER BOWL! It's all in the fun! It's a BOWL to remember. And company and negotiators will remember for sure.

I'm not sure what ur alluding to? Who the hell wants to fire up management. We want the membership fired up for the indescent proposals layed at our feet. Changing leaders ( although it just happens to be them ) is not the full context of the fight. We must change the way the other side of the table views us and right now they view us as " lambs for the taking ".........WRONG........We can't all face them face to face and demand equallity...........THAT WAS UR JOB....well I'm sure they are reading this board and learnig something about Fleet Service.....
We can still do our jobs and demand to be treated fairly in the industry. I don't necessarily want the highest pay but we shouldn't settle for the lowest either. I wouldn't be surprised if other airlines are in section 6 right now and if we signed at $19 and the shiesty language, that when they signed we were once again the lowest in the industry for 4 more years.........

What the company wants and what they get are two different things in this case. Keep it up lithuanian now that you have their attention should be more the reason not to stop.

Can someone explain the voting process on Super Tuesday at our local lodges and then Who will represent us at the Grand Lodge to vote out the increase of union dues. We only have a few days left. Help! Oh, yeah, and be there at A8 11:30am in Phoenix for another pre-game event! (So sorry John Edwards bowed out).
