Rand Paul caught lying about his college record

You are right. Everything was peaches and cream before Jan 20 2009.

If you think the military and the Fortune 500 are small minds I guess you must be right.

Not sure about the picketing thing. As far as trying to verify that he believes in science or fantasy, I think that is a pretty valid question. I think it's pretty desperate to think it's not. I think it makes sense. You do not think education is important and you do not think believing in science is important. Put him on the ticket and see what the rest of the country believes.

He's been elected three times in a blue state.  Apparently, his lack of qualifications and beliefs weren't in question there.

Interesting that you'd put words in my mouth about evolution. God forbid that there may actually be people of open minds who can balance out evolution and creation.  You want a binary answer, and it just might not be that simple.

Electability has nothing to do with qualifications.  There are an abundace of examples to prove that.

Sure.  A balance between fantacy and reality.  Makes perfect sense.

But you make issue out of not having a higher education goes to being a prerequisite for electability.

But why stop there?  Both sides are guilty of it and there are plenty of examples to show it.  Bush, Reid, Pelosi, Gingrich, Bachman, Wrangle, Helms, Dorman, Akin, Foley, Broun, and the list goes on

You still don't get it Tree, or simply wouldn't admit it, but this, so called, highly educated POTUS, has done more harm to this country, by doing the absolute minunum, than any other POTUS in the whole history of this Republic!!!!----- My Daddy told me, years ago, "Son, there is a time and place to let people know your pissed! The trick is deciding what is the proper time, and place!" ------- I believe we have come to that point a long time ago and this Presadent just doesn't have what it takes to deal with the reality of it!!!!

That's a matter of opinion. Mine differs.

Scorecard
Rand Paul = One lie
Barack Obama = So many lies my calculator battery died.

Serial LIARS, perhaps even pathological LIARS like Obama are unfit for office regardless of their educational chops

you'd make a great white house press secretary you sure spin like one

So they don't lie and spin the info?

With in the last 20 yrs or so, each party has had control of Congress and the WH at the same time for a short period.  During that time did they do anything that they promissed to do which they claimed they wanted to reform during their campaingns?  Have we had campaign finance reform?  Has imigration been delt with.  Tax reform?  Anything?  Each party has at one point or another (usually when they are not in power) said they wanted to fix all of the previously mentioned issues.  None of them were addressed.  Why?  Because they are lying through their teeth when ever they move their lips.  This is not spin, not justification, just the reality as I see it.  We the people seem to be powerless to stop it.  Money is so engrained in politics right now, that the working stiff is out in the cold.

I think our system is FUBAR.  I do not belive it can be fixed.  The only option I see is tear it down and start over.  And that is not a viable option in my opinion.
